Joyce Amedeo, owner of Joyce's Everyday Gourmet, has loved cooking for years and grew up in a family catering business. It is a perfect combination of loving what you do for a living that makes the business so successful.

Joyce Algiere Amedeo graduated from Quinnipiac College in Hamden, Connecticut with a degree in accounting. But it didn't add up. She pursued a career hotel/restaurant management from Providence to Albany to Boston. Returning to Westerly, she joined her father's business for the next decade. But there was something in her mind that wouldn't let go - starting a business that she would like but one that would fill a need. Energetic and creative, she fell upon an idea she perceives as a wave of the future - providing take-out meals to accommodate those living the satisfying but hectic lifestyle so many people opt for in the new millennium. From this musing the idea for Joyce's Everyday Gourmet was born - and the doors opened just a few days.

Joyce is always buying fresh ingredients to make the best quality food and constantly changing the menu to keep her loyal customers happy. The personalized service is the real key that sets Joyce's Everyday Gourmet apart from any other businesses in the industry.
